Who we are

What this policy covers

This policy covers this website and the enquiry, quotation and careers forms on it. It does not cover contracts you sign with us, which set out their own confidentiality terms.

What we collect

• What you type into a form: your name, company, designation, email, phone, country, industry, enquiry type, the role you are applying for, and your message or requirement.
• Files you choose to attach: drawings, scans, specifications and CVs.
• Standard web-server records kept by our hosting provider, such as the pages requested, the time, and the IP address that requested them.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. When you submit a form, one short-lived session cookie is set to stop the same visitor from submitting repeatedly. It is deleted when you close your browser.

To keep automated spam out, our forms use Google reCAPTCHA. It loads only once you start filling in a form, and it sends Google information about your browser and how the page is used so Google can tell a person from a bot. Google may set its own cookies for this. Its use is covered by the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
• To assess a job application you send us.
• To keep a record of the correspondence for our business files.

We ask you to agree to this policy before a form is sent, and we use what you send only for the purpose you sent it.

Your drawings stay confidential

Drawings, scans and specifications you send are treated as confidential. We do not share them outside ETR without your agreement.

Who else sees your information

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising. It is handled by the ETR engineers and staff dealing with your enquiry, and it passes through our hosting and email providers, who process it on our behalf. Google receives the reCAPTCHA check described under Cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and quotations for as long as we need them for the project and our business records, and applications for as long as the recruitment process needs. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

Email info@etrengineering.com to ask for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted. If you asked us to quote and then change your mind, tell us and we will remove the file.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection and access to enquiry mail is limited to the people who need it. No transfer over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. For unusually sensitive drawing sets, contact us first and we will agree a route.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date above.
